BOOKs: Title: Cameras Over the Pacific: US Marine Corps Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron VMD-254 - I just came across a privately published book on VMD-254 operations in WW II called "Cameras Over the Pacific: US Marine Corps Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron VMD-254" by John Bishop. VMD-254 flew PB4Y-1's on photo recon missions in the Pacific Theater. The book is only available from the author for $25 + $5 S&H.
