LOGOs: VP-23 CAC-1 "...This is the patch used by the "No Slack CAC" from about 1982 to 1985 for three deployments. "No Slack" originated on the 1981 NAS Keflavik, Iceland deployment and lasted through the 1982 NS Rota, Spain/ NAF Lajes, Azores, Portugal, 1983 NAS Bermuda, and 1984-85 NAS Sigonella, Sicily deployments. Some of the crew was together for five deployments "No Slack" evolving from the "Old One-Two" from the 1979-80 NAS Keflavik, Iceland deployment.
