Please mark your calendar for August 18-20, 2017.
We are finalizing our plans for the upcoming 2017 Maritime Patrol Squadron Reunion.
The Reunion is scheduled to be held in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island on August 18, 19 & 20. Note, since it is VP-69's drill weekend they will be invited to attend our reunion events as well.
The cost by event. Friday only, $12.00. Saturday only, $40.00.
If you are attending all weekend events the cost is $50.00 per person.
All the information will be made available on our website as the events are finalized.
The Reunion activity plans thus far include:
- Friday 5PM at Rocky Point: Cheese Burgers with tomatoe, lettuce and condiments. Sides include potato salad, baked beans and potato chips. Cold beer, wine and a variety on non- alcoholic Liquid libations provided. Plenty of time for spinning sea stories and meet veteran, retired and current serving patrol squadron personnel.
- Saturday morning at Hangar Nine. Visit to the VP 69 squadron hanger for a static display of P-3C. Note: A current military ID is required for admittance to NAS.
- Other local attractions to Visit at your expense.

PBY Museum in Oak Harbor $6.00
- Saturday evening 5PM CPO Club. Social hour begins with no host bar, followed by buffet dinner. Choice of two entrees:
Sliced prime roast with mushroom sauce, or salmon filet basted with basil garlic butter. Spinach salad with cranberries, grilled pear and tomato vinaigrette, or crisp Cole slaw. Mashed potatoes, and a warm medley of vegetables with a variety of artisan breads and butter.
Dessert includes chocolate covered strawberries, and an assortment of dessert cakes. In addition, Hot coffee, tea and ice tea and water will be served.
Speakers- Commander Peter Lauder, squadron incoming skipper for VP-69 will provide us with the squadron current events.
Second Speaker - TBD to provide status of the P-8 Poseidon transition at NAS Whidbey Island.
Smart Casual attire or uniform.
- Sunday morning 9am: meet in Best Western in basement cafe at 9am for continental breakfast and farewell.

This is the information you have been waiting for. Now you can plan your August 14-16 weekend.
We are finalizing our plans for the upcoming 2015 Northwest Patrol Squadron Reunion.
The Reunion is scheduled to be held in Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island the weekend of August 14, 15 & 16.
Our reunion costs are penciling out for Friday and Saturday as $60.00 per person. All the information will be made available on our website as the events are finalized.
The Reunion plans thus far will include:
Friday: BBQ at Rocky Point with Burgers, chicken, potato salad, green salad and potato chips. BYOB. Plenty of time for spinning sea stories. If enough people show an interest when signing-in there will a visit to the VP 69 Squadron Hanger 7 on Fri. afternoon from 2-4 pm. Current military ID is required for admittance to NAS.
Saturday morning Visit to the following will be at your expense.

Saturday evening: Social Hour starts at 6 pm followed by buffet dinner at the Oak Harbor Elks: Principle speaker on NAVY Reserve Affairs is former VP69 CO… RADM Asbjornsen. Update from current VP 69 CO on reserve mission. Choice of two entrees, variety of Beef Burgundy or chicken breast in a white champagne sauce, with garlic mashed potatoes, and blue cheese crumbles along with a Capri mixed vegetable dish and green dinner salad or Caesar salad, with rolls, and three kinds of desserts. Complimentary tea, coffee. or ice tea and no host bar. Casual business attire or uniform.

We have finalized our plans for the upcoming reunion. It is now up to you folks to make it happen.
The Reunion is scheduled to be held in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island on September 27, 28 & 29.
All the information for the reunion is here, the cost and the schedule along with some additional extras.
The Reunion this year will include an opportunity to visit the Boeing plant and view the assembly area for the P8 Poseidon as well as the Boeing 737.
We also offer you an opportunity to purchase a P2 or P3 cap not available from any other source.

THE 2009 PACIFIC NORTHWEST PATROL REUNION
DATES: Sept. 11 and Sept. 12, 2009 HERITAGE FLIGHT MUSEUM Bellingham Airport Bellingham, Washington (I-5, exit 258)
FRIDAY, SEPT. 11, 2009Check in at 3 PM at the Bellingham Airport 132-room Hampton Inn Motel. Rooms for our reunion have been blocked for $94 per night. Rooms are two Queen or one King selection until the August 14, 2009 deadline. On your own, call (360) 676-7700 to make a reservation hold on your credit card.
Muster at 4:15 PM at the nearby Heritage Flight Museum hangar for a parade of veterans and reading of the Plan of the Day. Dress casually, or respectfully in full or partial military garb: Civilian or military MASH-type attire. Flight jackets and flight suits are OK.
At 5:30 PM dinner (New Orleans cuisine) and subsequent USO-type entertainment by THE WALRUS band until 9 PM. No host bar: Beer, wine, soda and water.

Hard deadline for the dinner and dance payment is August 18. It is suggested you pay in advance. You will get your money back if you let the reunion chairman know by the deadline.
Social gatherings after 9 PM in the Hampton Inn Lobby, at the nearby Mykonos Restaurant (within walking distance of the Motel), or in your individual rooms. Unlike the 2007 reunion on an Indian reservation, alcoholic beverages are allowed in the Hampton Inn rooms. SATURDAY, SEPT. 12, 2009Free continental breakfast for those staying in the Hampton Inn Motel.
Attend the Warbird Fly-in and Open House at the Heritage Flight Museum hangar from 10 AM to 4 PM. A voluntary donation of, at least, $5 each at the door would be appreciated.

The event, held every two years, is sponsored by the VP-69 Veterans Association. A limited number of rooms have been blocked for the event at the highly-rated resort for $90 per night.
