Belisle, a native of Worcester, Mass., is a 1967 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. In 1968, he was designated a Naval Aviator and was assigned to VP-8 at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. During his first tour, he participated in operational deployments to NAS Bermuda; NAS Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada; NS Rota, Spain, and the NAF Lajes, Azores, Portugal, qualifying as a Patrol Plane Commander, Mission Commander, and Instructor Pilot in the P-3A Orion aircraft. In 1972, he was assigned to VP-30 as an Instructor Pilot. Rear Adm. Belisle was accepted into the TAR (Training and Administration of Reserves) Program in 1974 and was assigned to NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. He subsequently transferred to VP-66 where he assumed the duties of Assistant Operations Officer. In 1978, he reported to VP-16, based at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, where he served as NATOPS/Safety Officer, Training Officer, and Officer in Charge (OIC) of the squadron's South American detachment in support of UNITAS XX, a major multinational exercise involving nine South American nations. After release from active duty in 1980, he affiliated with Squadron Augment Unit VP-0516 where he served as Reserve P-3C Training Program Coordinator, directing a pilot program which led to the establishment of the VP Master Augment Units. In 1983, he transferred to VP-92 at NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he assumed the duties of Executive Officer. In October 1984, he became the squadron's tenth Commanding Officer. Returning to NAS Jacksonville, Florida in 1985, he reported to VTU-7474, serving as Training Officer and Chief Staff Officer. In 1987, he became Commanding Officer of NR Helicopter Antisubmarine Wing 0174. He subsequently served as Commanding Officer of NR Mobile Maintenance Facility ALFA, NAS Jacksonville, Florida 0274, VTU-7474, and NR Carrier Group 0667 at NAS Atlanta, Georgia. From October 1995 to September 1997, he served as Chief of Staff, Logistics Task Force, Atlantic, Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk, Va. His flag assignments have included Deputy, Maritime Defense Forces, Atlantic, Deputy Commander, Patrol Wings, Atlantic and Commander, Naval Base Jacksonville. When I flew with VP-92 my duties were as a FCPC. One of the pilots that I flew with was RADM S. T. Keith. He has come a long way and is now the guy in New Orleans. My enlisted rate went from ADR to ADJ to AD. I then served with VP-69 as the Maintenance Chief when I was selected to ADCS in 1978. I stayed with VP-69 until I was commissioned in 1981. I then went from the good Navy to the ship Navy and served aboard the USS Ranger (CV-61, USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and that was with VAQ-137. I then did a tour with AIMD at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington. My final tour was with the VA-52 (Knight Riders). I retired in 1990..." Worked for General Offshore Corp, you know that outfit in Hanger 3 in NAS Brunswick, Maine that everyone thought was CIA. I returned to active duty in 1989, after doing sometime as a SELRES in VP-MAU. Became a FE and flew with VP-10 from 1990 until 1993, I then transferred down to NAS Patuxent River, Maryland and NRL until 1997. My enlistment expired after the detailer offered me nothing but USS out of Norfolk, so I became a SELRES again and affiliated with VP-92. Made Chief in 1998, was recalled to support VP Squadrons in NAS Sigonella, Sicily during the Kosovo Campaign in 1999, VP-10 and VP-16. After that little excursion I found employment on the Staff of Commander Naval Air Forces Reserve in my hometown of New Orleans as the T56 Tech Rep and I began serving with VP-94 from 2000 until I retired in June of 2005. With the eminent departure of the Reserve Air Staff to Norfolk and the dwindling number of Reserve P-3 and C-130 squadrons I decided to take my leave. Started my flying career as a second mech in VP-44, 71-75, then moved on to become a TAR in VP-92. Qualified as a Flight Engineer Jan 76. Orders then to VP-69 from 79-82. A follow on tour back to VP-92 from 82-87. Moved from there to VP-68 from 87-91. Didn't have enough so went back "home" to VP-92 from 91-96 when I finally retired to a great job as an Aviation Safety Inspector with the FAA in Boston. As I look back did it all from pumping a grease gun on the flight line, to Maintenance Chief, all while in a flying billet. Logged almost 9000 flight hours as a P-3 FE and am proud of it. In my later years as the MMCPO I was extremely proud of the maintenance folks that gave the extra effort to get the aircraft "up". The best part was when I preflighted then flew the aircraft on a PMCF. Usually never having a gripe to write up when we were done. The VP-Navy was my Navy and am proud to have been a part of it. Arriving in November of 1978 as an AX2 and placed in the line shack with the infamous "Mini Mac." After learning how to snow stack and get all the ground qualifications, moved to W/C 210 with Paul "Roy Boy", Raul Martinez, Dave Childers, Guido (Mike Mansfield), Sam Owen, Mort (Earl Mortenson) and Larry Middlebrook. Great cruises with hard work and fun. Great times playing acey deucey in the shop and fun times when the lights would go out in the hangar. With all that acey deucey playing, Butch Fowler never complained as long as we got our work done and keep the planes "up." Followed Archie Donais to VP-65 (1983-1988), NAR NAS Point Mugu, California (1988-1991), VR-54 (1991-1994) (Plank Owner) at NAS Belle Chasse,LA with the Beast Master (Jim Rohlfing) and then retired. About half of the "Detroit Crew" airlifted to NAF Andrews, Maryland until we shut the lights off there in NOV '96. Made my first NAS Keflavik, Iceland det with VP-68. After shutting down VP-68, got orders to VP-92 at NAS Brunswick, Maine in DEC '96. I drilled there until JAN '98 when I went IRR. FULLER, LCDR Scott  Circa 2005 http://reserves.navy.mil/ "...Lieutenant Commander Fuller, a native of Lockport, New York, graduated from the University of Rochester and was commissioned an Ensign in May of 1991. Following Flight Training, he was designated a Naval Flight Officer in March 1993. Upon completion of Fleet Replacement Training at VP-30 in February 1994, Lieutenant Commander Fuller reported for his first operational tour with the "War Eagles" of VP-16 at NAS Jacksonville, Florida. Serving as ASW TACCO and NFO Training Officer, he deployed to NAS Keflavik, Iceland and NAS Sigonella, Sicily. He was also designated a Patrol Plane Tactical Coordinator, Mission Commander, Instructor TACCO and a NATOPS Instructor TACCO. In January of 1997, Lieutenant Commander Fuller returned to the "Pro's Nest" of VP-30 to serve as a Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Instructor. While assigned to VP-30 he served as a member of the ASUW Improvement Program (AIP) Fleet Introduction Team (FIT), where he was responsible for the introduction of AIP aircraft throughout the P-3 community. After a year of serving on the FIT, he led the Fleet NATOPS Team as the Senior NFO Evaluator. Designations included FRS Instructor TACCO, Mission Commander, AIP FIT Instructor, Instructor Under Training (IUT) Instructor and Fleet NATOPS Evaluator. In January 1999, Lieutenant Commander Fuller was accepted into the Training and Administration of Reserve (TAR) Program and reported to the Reserve ASW Training Center (RATCEN) at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where he served as the Training Officer, Block Modification Upgrade Program (BMUP) Transition Officer and Director of Training. While at RATCEN he developed and led the Naval Reserve through its transition from the P-3C Update II/II.5 to the most advanced ASW platform, the BMUP aircraft. After a rewarding tour at RATCEN, Lieutenant Commander Fuller reported back to NAS Jacksonville, Florida in September 2002 where he served as the Training Officer and Maintenance Officer for the VP-62 "Broadarrows." While with the Broadarrows, Lieutenant Commander Fuller detached to NAF Kadena, Okinawa, Japan and NAS Sigonella, Sicily in support of the Global War on Terrorism. LT Green was an Aviation Machinist Mate, Second Class, (AC) in the Naval Air Reserves at the Old NAS Olathe, Kansas. After completion of boot camp and ADR "A" school in Millington, Tn, he went on to be a GCPC and FCPC on many aircraft of the time, in the Navy. His 3 year (TAR) active duty time was spent with NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts, FASU/NSA DaNang, Republic of Vietnam and NAS Jacksonville, Florida with VP-72 and VP-92. His cloud time was spent mostly as Flight Crew Plane Captain on S2-F and the P2V-7 Neptune, and P-3A Orion, ASW aircraft of the era and are still in use today. Upon release from active duty, he remained in a drilling status at Naval Air Reserve Center Olathe, until June 1975 and was Honorably Discharged. BULL is a Nationally Registered Paramedic in civilian life and owns his own Medical Consulting, Staffing and Education Business. Joined VP-0810 NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts then moved across the hall to VP-92 as an FCO/Instructor in P-3As and P-3Bmods from 1979 to 1985. Broke service for a few years then I then went to VP-64 NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania as FCO/Instructor/IFT in P-3As again then P-3C Update 2s as IFT from 1989 to 1994, and finally down the hall to VP-66 in P-3C Update 2s and EP-3Js (we got them from VAQ-33 when they were distestablished) as IFT until I retired in July 1998. Didn't stop working on P-3s then, though, went to Lockheed Martin Greenville, SC for the next 5 1/2 years working on the P-3 AIP Mod program as an Avionics Post Mod tester until this last March, when I moved to Marietta, GA to work on the F/A-22 program. LaBeouf, a native of Rochester, New York, graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1975. He was commissioned through Aviation Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida, in May 1980, and was designated a Naval Flight Officer in May 1981. Captain LaBeouf's first operational assignment was with the "Skinny Dragons" of VP-4 NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii. He served with them from February 1982, to May 1985, holding the positions of Legal Officer and NATOPS Officer. In June 1985, he was assigned to VP-31 as a flight instructor. Captain LaBeouf was selected for the Full Time Support (formerly TAR) program in January, 1986. In addition to his flight instructor duties, he was an instructor for the Tactical Training Team. In May 1988, he left VP-31 for NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he served as the Aviation Training Officer for the next year. He then moved to VP-92 where he held the positions of Training Officer and Maintenance Officer for the "Minutemen." In June 1991, Captain LaBeouf reported to the Naval Air Reserve ASW Training Center, NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, as the Senior Evaluator of the Commander Naval Air Reserve Force P-3 NATOPS Evaluation Team. His next assignment was to VP-66 as the Aviation Maintenance Officer. In October 1993, he assumed the duties as Officer-in-Charge of VP-66. During his tenure, the "Liberty Bells" transitioned to the P-3C UII aircraft and added two unique EP-3J aircraft with their Electronic Warfare Training mission to the squadron. In December 1994, he reported to the staff of Commander Reserve Patrol Wing Atlantic where he held the positions of Maintenance, Operations and Administration Officer. Captain LaBeouf reported onboard NAS Brunswick, Maine in June 1997, to stand up VQ-11 and became the squadron's first Commanding Officer in an establishment ceremony in August 1997. For the next two years his squadron of electronic EP-3J's trained surface and air units from every U.S. battle group as well as many allies in the Electronic Warfare mission. Captain LaBeouf was next assigned to OPNAV N512, Navy Warfare Policy and Doctrine. When terrorists attacked the USS Cole, he was attached to the Secretary of the Navy's Antiterrorism Task Force until his departure in July 2001. He attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces for the next year and graduated with a Masters of Science in National Resource Strategy in the class of 2002. In July 2002, he reported to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs as the Director of Readiness. During his time in this joint tour he was responsible for the Department of Defense's actions that resulted in rebalancing the active and reserve force mix for all seven Reserve components. In August 2004, Captain LaBeouf assumed command of Naval Air Reserve, NAS Brunswick, Maine where he is responsible for 20 augment units and two aviation squadrons comprising over 800 selected reservists. Captain LaBeouf's awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (second award), Navy Commendation Medal (fourth award), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (third award), and various other unit and campaign ribbons. He was promoted to the rank of Captain and in October 1994 retired after 27 years of Naval Service. Gary worked for the FAA for the last 25 years and most recently was the Boston Flight Standards District Office Manager. He was named the FAA National Manager of the year two times and the Regional Manager of the Year four times. He leaves behind his wife Christina, and sons Scott, Todd, Chad and daughter Gina.
